CINCINNATI -- The Reds have acquired Blue Jays third baseman Scott Rolen just before Friday's 4 p.m. ET Trade Deadline, Sport Illustrated's John Heyman is reporting.

There was no confirmation yet from the Reds. Rolen, who is from Indiana, has a no-trade clause and would have to approve the trade to Cincinnati.

Toronto would reportedly get third baseman Edwin Encarnacion and a Minor Leaguer in return, according to FoxSports.com.
